Day #3: Day in Boston

Hey everybody,
as you may see, today is a "blog-writing" day! :) But let's move on to my third day in the States!

On Friday, we drove to Boston immediately after breakfast. When we arrived there, we first "made" the "Freedom trail Tour" together with our really funny guide. At the tour we learned a lot about US History, especially what happened in Boston. We started at Boston Common, visited lots of places, and finally ended at Quincy Market/McCormick & Schmick's.

After that, we had one and a half hours to get something for lunch and to go shopping a little bit in and around Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. I bought a Philly Cheese Sandwich, which is actually just a long roll filled with hash and some cheese but it was really good!

Afterwards, we drove to Cambridge to visit Harvard University, where we got a really interesting and "tour" again. The tour ended in front of the Harvard store, where we were allowed to look around to get some souvenirs. I couldn't resist buying one of these popular red sweatshirts, because of their really good Quality and because they were sooooo comfortable!

Afterwards, we just drove back to Pomfret School, where we had a "Pizza Dinner". I really enjoyed the whole day!

Love,
Sophie
